Recap of Quarter #3
Quarter 3 brought continued growth in unity, participation, and spiritual bonding for our church plant. Despite being a summer season with many members traveling for family reunions, campouts, and other engagements, weekly services continued with an average attendance of 12–17 people. Members increasingly took on leadership roles in Sabbath worship, midweek prayers, and Bible study. We are thankful for the spirit of togetherness and the deepening sense of belonging as each person contributes their talents towards building a strong and supportive spiritual family. Highest sabbath attendance was 42.
Service Related Activitie
This quarter was filled with meaningful spiritual events and ministry highlights. We launched a monthly prayer and fasting Sabbath, drawing visitors and strong member participation. Special services included a powerful Women’s Ministry Day, led entirely by our women and young ladies, and a Men’s Ministry Sabbath focusing on health and wellness. On World Pathfinder Day, our youth led out in worship with inspiring music and message. We also had a series of visiting preachers from various parts of the Netherlands who blessed us with uplifting messages.
Weekly services
Some members of our church were present at the EGACCOM (European Ghanaian Adventist Community) in Venice, where Almere Ghana SDA was recognised as the 54th Ghanaian SDA church in Europe. This moment marked a significant step and encouragement in our journey toward full church recognition. Additionally, we participated in the "Groot Opdracht Festival" organized by the Union, an enriching experience with workshops on church governance and revitalization, especially important for us as a growing church plant. Weekly Bible Study and Prayer Meetings also saw increased participation, with Sunday Bible Study averaging 15 members and Wednesday prayers growing to 12 regular attendees.
Women Ministry
Looking ahead to Quarter 4, we are turning outward with intentional community outreach. Through ProjectReachOut, we aim to reconnect with inactive Ghanaian Adventists in our area and provide support to the homeless through cooked meals, encouragement, and prayer. As we prepare to cook and serve together, we invite every member to contribute their time, talents, and love. Our mission is simple: to be a light in our community and serve as Christ did. With God’s help, we are moving boldly into the next phase of our church’s journey.
